Who we are
This website, padelpriv.club, is operated by PADELPRIV LTD (company number 17133298), registered at Unit 8, Gemini Point, Birch Wood Drive, Bracken Hill Business Park, Peterlee, Durham, SR8 2RS. We are the data controller for any personal information collected through this website. You can contact us about privacy at info@padelpriv.club.
What this website collects
This website is a simple information site. It has no contact form or account system. When you visit, our hosting provider (Netlify) automatically records standard technical information in server logs, such as your IP address, browser type, the pages you request and the time of your visit. This is used only to keep the site running securely and to diagnose problems, and is kept for a short period by the hosting provider.
Cookies and analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how people use this website: which pages are visited, roughly where visitors come from, and which devices they use. Google Analytics only runs if you click Accept on the cookie notice. If you click Reject, or do nothing, no analytics cookies are set and no data is sent to Google. Your choice is remembered in your browser, and you can change it at any time using the "Cookie settings" link in the footer.
If you accept, Google Analytics sets cookies beginning with _ga that last up to two years and identify your browser with a random number, not your name. IP addresses are anonymised. Google processes this data on our behalf under the Google Ads Data Processing Terms; Google's own privacy policy is at policies.google.com/privacy. We do not use analytics data for advertising and we do not share it with anyone else.
Bookings through Playtomic
Court bookings are made through Playtomic, a separate booking platform. When you follow a "Book on Playtomic" link you leave this website. Any personal information you provide to Playtomic (such as your name, contact details and payment information) is collected and processed by Playtomic under its own privacy policy, and by us as the club you are booking with in order to manage your booking. From Playtomic we receive the name and contact details of the person who booked and their booking history with us.
Social media
Links to Instagram and other social platforms take you to those services, which have their own privacy policies. We do not receive personal information from them through this website.
Information you give us at the club
We do not routinely collect personal information in person. If there is an accident or incident at the club we will record the details of those involved so that it can be dealt with properly.
Why we use your information and our legal basis
- To provide the services you have asked for, such as managing a court booking (performance of a contract).
- To keep the club and this website safe and secure, and to deal with any accident or incident (our legitimate interests, and where relevant our legal obligations).
- To send you information about the club where you have asked us to, which you can stop at any time (consent).
Who we share it with
We share information only with the service providers we use to run the club and this website, such as Playtomic (bookings and payments) and Netlify (website hosting), and where the law requires it. We do not sell personal information.
How long we keep it
We keep booking records for up to two years after your last booking, and incident records for three years, unless the law requires us to keep them longer. After that they are deleted.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to or restrict how we use it, and to withdraw consent where we rely on it. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at info@padelpriv.club. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
